An Imperfect Plan
ǁ The Icebreaker ǁ
The city is lonely for a companion, but a lonely, gritty city has dangerous potential. Perhaps there can be an inevitably messy relationship, one of initial compromise and dissonance that nurtures into appreciation and sympoeisis. Just maybe what’s right for a lonely gritty city is a date with an unfiltered, raw and nuanced: dirty nature.

ǁ The Cohabitors ǁ
Dirty Nature: An entity of imperfections and complexities, stripped of gloss and idealization, offers honest field to celebrate the unapologetic and authentic nuances of a natural system.
The City: A disjointed conglomerate of neighborhoods and strangers, accentuated by a worn history, can be the backdrop for a new urban synthetic.
Together: Challenging the sanitized anthropocentric perspective of an accustomed landscape. Neighborly-natured cohabitors confront the messiness of the everyday.

ǁ Some Common Ground: Clutter ǁ
Everyone has Clutter. And clutter becomes even more apparent when moving in together. But clutter, “the collections of things lying about in an untidy mass” can be so much more. We mitigate. We tidy. We organize. We delineate the clutter of our interiors. Likewise, landscapes soften. They trim. They systematize the clutter of an urban scale. In this, seemingly disparate systems are embedded with the means for a scaleless interface. For our COHABITORS, clutter can be a new organizational logic. It can be the way-points between old and new. The permeable eaves of irresolute integration. The clutter can advertise. It isn’t clean, but it is organized. The Clutter doesn’t pile but rather it does aggregate and nestle. The Clutter likes to align. It delineates. It’s a loose edge with distinct place.
Clutter is our new common ground.
ǁ Some Common Space: Bathhouse ǁ
Clutter can offer constant rereading’s. A Ground. A Walk. An Aggregate. A Plan. A View. A Relief. Careless programming for a harmless field. An alleviation of blunt schemes for idiosyncratic accessibilities. Perhaps, nonchalant impulses can be exceedingly careful. Imagine a readiness to elect how we lend a hand in worlding. Maybe, just maybe, our urban assemblages can indulge the pleasure of participation.
Clutter can be our new common space.
