Studio Nobody - In collaboration with Mike Bonezzi, Katie Peyton & Tyler Skidmore
// This ongoing collaboration with the Medina Encore Entertainment Company explores the intersection of theatrical lighting, scenic design, and fabrication through a series of concert productions and competitive show choir performances. Spanning nine productions between 2021 and 2025, the work encompasses the design and development of immersive stage environments, programmable lighting systems, custom scenic elements, and modular transportation assemblies. Each production responds to a distinct thematic and performative framework, translating narrative concepts into cohesive visual environments through the manipulation of light, color, movement, and material.
Central to the work is an emphasis on adaptability, constructability, and the relationship between technical systems and theatrical expression. Custom-designed scenic elements incorporate integrated lighting, operable mechanisms, and modular assemblies to accommodate the demands of performance, transportation, and repeated installation. Across successive productions, components have been reconfigured, modified, and repurposed, extending their functional lifespan while allowing for new visual interpretations. Together, these projects investigate the capacity of lighting and scenography to transform performance spaces and establish distinct atmospheric identities.
