// “No Photos on the Dance Floor” draws upon unexpected residues of the 2020 Global viral crisis. Individuals’ abrupt perspectival shift of digital technologies mediation with routine life and notional scales of macro/micro social space resulted in surprising unknowable trajectories. Berlin’s first techno clubs were scattered inside real-world artifacts left estranged from prior conflict, where interior use radically opposed their exterior perception. This project seeks to repurpose lost real-world artifacts as representational digital architectures, on display for a new more real "Interior Digital Space”. “No Photos on the Dance Floor” alludes to a techno club for one, manifested in physical urban landscapes; whose confounding relationships of use/perception as digital-world artifacts of ordinary fodder subvert the context in which they find themselves.
