// The West 73rd Apartments project features two identical 200-unit buildings located in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland. These new apartment buildings are set within a former industrial quarter, symbolizing a shift towards high-density residential housing in an area previously dominated by a pre-war zoning code favoring single-family dwellings. The design of the two buildings employs a series of stepped volumes, evoking the language of urban townhomes. The use of local brick with matching stone trim, dark metal cladding, and railing metalwork recalls the local warehouse vernacular. Reflecting contemporary changes in mobility and transportation, the ground floor incorporates alternative transportation options. In addition to tenant parking accessible from the main lobby and amenity spaces, there are designated ride-share spaces, indoor and outdoor bike parking, scooter parking, and proximity to regional transit stops. The entrance at the corner features a double-height glass lobby with a digital display providing real-time transit data. The ground floor also includes a private mail room, office space, and a spacious tenant gym. On the upper floors, the buildings house one and two-bedroom apartments, each with exterior balconies and terraces.
